Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) is designed for low-risk workplaces. It can also be used for staff required to be emergency first aiders or to support a designated first aider trained via the First Aid at Work course.

In addition to the above (which is mandated by the HSE) Global Medical training also cover the following topics on their EFAW courses ay no extra cost - because our experience tells us that everyone should have these extra skills
This course is 1 day (or 6 hours), face to face. The standard course times are 0900-1600 which includes a 30 minute lunch break and 2 x 15 minute refreshment breaks. If you request additional material to be covered then these times will need to be extended accordingly.
Assessment consists of continual observation in relation to the practical elements, along with a short question paper consisting of multiple choice and short answer questions.
After successful completion of the course a certificate will be awarded and this certificate is valid for three years.
